Italian Wine Sundae with Red Wine and Vanilla Ice Cream?
I use to go to an Italian restaurant where they served a wine sundae. I tried to replicate it with red wine and cornstarch, then with 1/2 red wine and 1/2 sugar. Both are good, but any other ideas?
You might try an Italian dessert wine (or port), instead of a regular dinner red wine … that would be thicker and sweeter.. I'll be some grated orange or lemon zest would be good too, although not real authentic:).
